Hi can you shoot slugs though both burrell’s? Or can you take off the modified choke?

Hi Eric and welcome. This model is fine to shot slugs through either Cylinder or Modified Chokes. Never fire slugs through any Full Chokes. I have a similar Coach Gun and get the best accuracy out of the Cylinder Choke with 1 oz Foster Type Rifled slugs and through the Modified Choke with 7/8 oz Foster Type Rifled slugs. Hi Eric, I would remove the modified choke and replace it with another cylinder choke tube. You can shoot slugs through a modified choke, particularly with lead slugs, but the accuracy may not be optimal. It’s recommended to use a cylinder bore or improved cylinder choke for best accuracy. Hi Glenn, it comes with improved cylinder and modified chokes, yes you can shoot slugs, but not through the modifed choke, according to Stoeger. . The owner's manual states "Our firearms are designed, manufactured and proof tested to standard based factory loaded ammunition." Stoeger - These chokes are recommended for slugs: 4 notches = Improved cylinder 5 notches = Cylinder A cylinder choke is recommended for shooting rifled slugs in a smooth-bore barrel. It is not safe to shoot slugs through chokes tighter than those listed here. . Do not shoot Sabot slugs through a smooth bore barrel. Slugs usually have best accuracy with IC choke, do not shoot slugs through a full choke. Stay safe & have a great day!

The Stoeger Coach Gun has "Extractors" Kevin. Once the action breaks open the extractors raise the shells about a 3/8 inch for manual shell removal.

Good shotgun for SASS. Single trigger is the best and was able to delete the auto safety while converting it to manual safety Needs a bit of work on the chamber and it will be good to go

Always wanted one and jumped on this when available from Bud's. Sale process with Bud's was quick and simple. Everything went smoothly and arrived in a few days. Finish is good and it looks great. Break is stiff but should workout after some use. Highly recommend.

Real nice shotgun. Had one of these a few years ago in nickel and didn't care for the fingerprint magnet. Like this a lot better. Handy size and accurate too. Fun to shoot, just not too much with heavy loads as it is pretty light in weight. Beautiful workmanship.

The Stogger supreme is a good gun . I did some fine tuning to action so it would open smoother for quick reloading. I'm happy with my Stogger and how well it performs

Bad-ass is all I can say about this coach gun! Nice, tight-fitting quality for the money! I thought it would look and feel a lot cheesier once I held it in my hands and fired it. The supplied chokes are cool too!

Beautiful firearm! Of course, right out of the box it's like breaking a two by four over your knee to open the action but, with a good cleaning and some quality lube in the right places it falls right open now. It's real fun to shoot, the fit and finish is a work of art. Additionally, I'm a frequent flyer with Bud's Gun Shop and they're always a pleasure to do business with.

Beautiful gun, works like a charm. Super fun to shoot. Rubber pad on the butt is great. Only complaint I have is that sometimes my forearm doesn't seem to want to stay on the underside of the barrel. It pops off every now and again when breaking the action open. It's just a matter of really slapping it on there when putting the gun together. Overall, great gun.
