You will learn to love this pistol, even with it's multiple safety features. Safety is great but this one takes a few extra steps before sending rounds down range. With more practice, they become habit and the pistol's performance is proven in the first 50 rounds. The front sight needs a touch of white-out or nail polish for low light conditions but it shoots true and comfortable. The downside is the limit of [10] rounds and the fun is over until you pack and rack another mag. Therefore, I ordered four extra mags with the pinky extender; which I absolutely swear by and highly recommend. The mag drop has no spring assist but has not impaired performance thus far but reaching for the flat bottom mag requires more eyes on gun control and less eyes on target. The safety lock on the case is wonderful and very secure. I have yet to test it's TSA approval but that tends to be based on the ticket agent's mood that day. I got the deluxe range kit with both barrels and two mags; one flat bottom and one extended. It is definitely worth a few extra dollars for this kit, all in for under $300 to my FFL dealer. I plan on sending a couple thousand more rounds through it and enjoying every drop of the hammer. Highly recommend for teaching your first time shooters as well, regardless of age, to show the imortance of safety-first and overall fiream training.

This little kit is awsome, has everything you need to the range except ammo. Gun exceeds all safety parameters, it include a std mag and an extended magazine, fires very well no problem feeding, sights are very small, but works. Recommended!

The Phoenix Arms range kit comes with everything you need to maintain your weapon. The gun itself is fun to shoot and works perfectly. I have fired ver 200 rounds of various brands of .22 lr ammo with one stove-pipe. It also comes with an additional longer barrel. Of course Bud’s makes buying a gun online easy. Shipping was prompt and gun was received in perfect condition.A true bargain.

purchased about a month ago. Gun was dirty, like it sat on the shelf for a while but a good cleaning and oiled up it was good to go. barrel changing is definitely something to get use to. spring flys out if your not careful. I bought extra and glad i did. would be nice to have a small spring retaininer so as you lift the barrel at the required angel, spring would stay in place. just takes practice. Keep it oiled as well. Fun to shoot. Safety's take some getting use to. Magazine change requires putting it on safe, change magazine, put back in fire. Plus theirs a hammer safety as well. Sliding the rail back to chamber a round, i noticed the slide just hits the top of the hammer. not a real big deal but i'll be modifing the hammer so the slide clears it for a smoother action.

Crazy accurate gun. I did not expected such accuracy. Eating all ammo even little supersonic. One little bad stuff mag not really comfortable to load. Mag need central pin for pull mag spring down to easy load rounds.

Well done all in one kit included extra Magazine with pinkie grip, 3 an 5 inch barrel with a cleaning kit. I ordered the all black model. Feels Solid in my hand all metal construction, less the grips. Personally I"m a bit negative on rim fire for personal defense. However if one felt due to their personal situation a 22 would be the Go to for Personal defense I feel from the reviews Ive seen one could do worse. The safeties are certainly "safe". I feel it would take quite a bit of training to get one up to speed to get this one in action relatively safely and quickly. That said, A 22 revolver would be the GO to for Personal Defense for myself if I had to choose a 22,,,. I am prior Military and a former State Prisoner Transporter for Medical/Surgeries, etc. Awesome for the James Bond 007 Look, LOL, cheap ammunition, . Great for critter control, Plinking, to get that Shooting monkey off your back at a low cost. Very concealable as a back up to a back up. It is the best made, Lowest Cost, semi auto out there still in production in the 22 cal. There are so many more choices for Protection. This does have its place, and the Moniker as a "Saturday Night Special" is there of course. This is Not a S.N>S. Change the spring every 1,000 rounds, stay away from real high velocity its a good one for long term ownership. Life time warranty, however Only BUY NEW, You are first owner. Lifetime warranty is the Original owner ONLY, dont get Took,, LOL. Be safe
