• Q: The Phoenix Arms website is down and the previous answers I received were to contact a different company, but it clearly shows that they aren't the correct company that's connected with this handgun.

• Q: I've had this since spring and tried the regular ammo but it will not work. I have to use varmit ammo or higher velocity to make it rack and eject shells. Works flawless with that but the gun won't work at all with the recommended ammo. Anything I could do and is everyone or anyone else having this problem?

• Q: I'm not 100% sure, but I think these and the 25acp variant are illegal to purchase in the state of Illinois due to the alloy composition of the frame. Would anybody be able to verify that please🤔

  Hi Glenn and welcome. Your assumption is correct. These have Zinc Allow Frames and would not pass IL Melting Point Laws. Cheers and stay safe!

  This does have a thumb safety but it's on the left side for right hand shooters. It's not ambidextrous. Hope this helps.

• Q: Can I purchase this if I live in Illinois?

  Alan, unfortunately this is not legal in Illinois. This pistol uses alloy in the frame and won't pass Illinois's melting point law Wich states any firearm that uses metal in the frame, slide or barrel that can melt under 800 degrees Fahrenheit is prohibited.
