Brian, Do not know exact date. but just wanted to share some information on. These "Special Configuration" models. They came out between 2011 and 2014. They have not had a lot of "new" production of these lately because of all the new models that have been coming out since then. And all the energy into MHS project. So if I was buying I would figure 2015 or before.

I called Buds asking this exact information. Build date and exact config. They refused to look and verify, stating that it would require someone to physically go look at one in the warehouse... and apparently that is too much hassle, so I never ordered the pistol.

Two Questions: Wondering if this pistol has SRT? Also, if the physical trigger in the picture is the one that comes on the pistol or is it the thin short reach trigger? Tried to research this, but have been unsuccessful. Any information is appreciated thank you.

Brian, no Sir. This is an older Sig and does not include the "Short Reset Trigger " SRT and has the pictured "Standard" Trigger.

Only the higher end model Sigs have SRT, such as the Scorpions, Extremes, and etc. This is a basic model.

Have had this pistol at the range many times and love it. Shoots any ammo I feed it and I've ran everything through it from cheapo to premium +p ammo. I have several Sig pistols and can't say enough good about them.

Great price for a sig.especially a great price for a sig elite.works fine as all sigs I have shot do.bright night sights.only problem I have was it was sent UPS 2nd day air and I didn’t receive it until 5 days later.it was sorted out on the wrong trailer.not buds fault but it is UPS’s fault.love shooting that 45 acp round.only thing I would change is the plastic grips.they feel cheap like plastic does.i will be ordering a hogue grip.other than that it’s a wonderful weapon

Beautiful piece, grips feel great, and the sweet SRT, another awesome Sig. Buds had it in my hands in 3 days but it had an abnormal amount of wear on the slide and back of magwell for a new gun. I dont know who is at fault for the excessive wear so I give the product 4 stars.
