• Q: I’m 20 and would like to buy this gun but is it legal I live in Virginia where you have to be 18 for shotguns and rifles but 21 for handguns

  Jonathan, any firearm with a "Stock" and at least a 16" Barrel is considered a "Rifle". Caliber does not matter in this case as it is a 45ACP caliber and would still be classified as a rifle even if chambered in 22 Long Rifle. You are good to go if you want to purchase this.

• Q: Does it come with a case or just in a box?

  This one is showing as the model number (T150D) which Auto Ordnance shows as NOT coming with a case, as a similar model (T150D-T30), is the one that is noted as coming in the Violin case. So this model would be shipped in a cardboard box from the manufacturer.

  Yes it can. It would be some work retooling or replacing the barrel but, it is very possible. Just remember to do the appropriate paperwork and pay the $200 Tax Stamp to stay legal and off the Club Fed membership list.

  Anton, The frame and receiver are machined from solid steel according to Thompson/AutoOrdnance.
