Heavy, but comfortable and good grouping.

Awesome weapon. The workmanship was what I would expect from Remington. Excellent grouping right out of the box. . After 20 rounds there were no failures of any kind. Well worth the expenditure for an experienced or casual shooter (a word of warning - it thumps a little more than you would expect).

Great gun, no problems getting this to shoot 1/2 MOA groups on day one. Would be 5 star but I'm having trouble getting the last round to feed correctly to chamber. Probably will work the issue out with some lube/tweaking. This is a heavy gun (but that's what I wanted) the additional weight really helps with the recoil compared to lighter 300 WMs.

I’m sure I’ll have to update this later. But the rifle arrived two weeks ago, service from Bud’s was fantastic. The rifle arrived and was in great condition. I mounted a Leupold M-3 scope on it and began the search for some good ammunition (which I now have in droves). The rifle is a bit too heavy for a hunting rifle and too light for a tactical rifle (the receiver is marked “TACTICAL”) but it is very comfortable to shoulder or get in a firing position. While attaching the bi-pod I noticed that the barrel channel wasn’t straight and the barrel was NOT free floating and was contacting the stock on the right and bottom of the barrel. There was some space to the left side. I tried to slide a piece of paper between the stock and barrel- no going; it wadded up and tore before going a quarter of an inch. So it is now off at the gunsmiths getting free floated (which it should have been prior to leaving the factory since Remington advertises it as such) and properly bedded (why not while its there). End result is that I have to give it three stars; it looks like it should shoot well, but its going to need some work before it will. When I do get a chance to shoot it I’ll be more than happy to update the review.

A great big heavy rifle. Very accurate though. Just a bench rest gun for me. Not a hunting rifle - too heavy unless your the Samson type. I've had a lot of fun shooting it. I've had no issues with it whatsoever since I've had it.

I received my Tact XCR from Buds and took it shooting to break in the Barrel the next week. Extremely nice rifle for the money. I origionally was planning on purchasing a replacement stock for this one, but it is actually very nice. The butt stock hook works awesome! Very beautiful. I get many compliments on this rifle at the range. Im not a very experienced shooter and I was able to produce 1 MOA groups. The rifle is capable of much better than that Im sure. My shoulder sure doesnt like it however.

I have yet to shoot the rifle; however, I was pleased with the overall service provided by Buds. Highly recommend this shop to purchase from. Reputable and good prices overall. Thank you.

This is the most accurate rifle i have ever put in my hands.The rifle in 300 win mag is shooting 1/4" groups at 100 yards.Thats 1 ragged hole ,amazing,remington has never let me down and this time they astonished me.My friend has a custom 5000 dollar rifle and mine is just as accurate and at times more accurate.
