The Model 700 SPS Tactical is highly maneuverable and is built for tack-driving accuracy. It features a Hogue overmolded pillar-bedded stock and a X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger. This model is chambered in 308 Winchester with a heavy 20" barrel, black oxide metal finish, Hogue overmolded black stock with SuperCell recoil pad, and a hinged floorplate magazine.
The carbon steel barrel is clean without sights and its receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

I love it. Only thing I didn't think to check before ordering was if the barrel was threaded, which it isn't. That's a reasonably priced modification I can pay as gunsmith for locally though.

Received my rifle mounted a Leupold 2-10x and took it right to the range. I ran several brands of 168gr loads and they all shot well. Ammo inc. shot 1 1/8” groups at 100yds. Federal GMM shot the best at just under 3/4” at 100. Hornady black was under an inch as well. I was a little concerned about the quality of the stock after reading some reviews. It’s not a custom stock but mine had no issues. It’s great to see that the model 700 is back.

Works perfect, easy order from Buds. Shoots just over .55" at 100 yards federal gold medal.

was a little concerned buying a new REMARMS manufacture rifle....as Remington didnt have great QC before the bankruptcy....and i didnt know what to expect once production resumed. my concerns were unwarranted, ive owned a number of remingtons over the years, and this is probably as good as theyve made them in 15 years. out of the box, it was shooting a consistent .8-1MOA with FGMM....ditch the factory stock and bed it into a quality stock or chassis and you will have a consistent .6-.75 moa rifle with FGMM. honestly i have 0 complaints.

Out of all my rifles, this is my favorite one. This gun is a tack driver, extremely accurate, and the recoil ain't bad either. When I first received this rifle, new ammo would chamber in it, but reloads would not. I was told that the head space was off and had to have it worked on. Excellent gun otherwise. Thanks Buds Guns!
