Very disappointing. Worked fine at FFL today. Got it home and the action release lever froze in the up position, jamming the gun. Removed the complete trigger assembly, released the action release button and now the forearm is frozen. Two control arms were loose inside the trigger housing. Now, I get to return the gun to Mossberg, but I have to pay the shipping. I had family warn me the Mossberg 500 has problems. This was supposed to be for my wife's use when I'm traveling. Not now. These guns are not the quality you think they are.

Another great purchase from Buds, just what they promised. I use the law away a lot of times and if you have not used this feature, give it a try. Buds is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with, purchased over 35 guns. Customer service is the best, friendly, knowledgeable and have the answers.

Very nice, no frills home defense shotgun. The finish is a nice blue like the old Mossbergs (not parkerized). Came with the pistol grip kit as well, which I'll keep but probably never use. Very happy with the shotgun as well as Bud's customer service. This won't be my last Mossberg or transaction from Bud's.

Great Shotgun. My first Mossberg. I've been a Remington owner for many years, finally decided to get a Mossberg because of the control placement. So far I've been delighted with the gun. UPS had some problems with the delivery but Bud's went above and beyond the call to make things right with me. I've been a customer of Buds for many years and the way they handled the UPS screw up has re-earned my business. I'm a happy camper with the shotgun and with Buds
