The P-32 has six main component groups: barrel, slide, firing mechanism, grip, and magazine. The barrel is made of SAE 4140 ordnance steel, heat treated to 48 HRC. The slide is also 4140 steel, and contains the firing pin and the extractor. The rectangular frame is machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminum and houses the firing mechanism. The trigger connects via a transfer bar to the hammer. The hammer is driven by a novel free floating extension spring. The light weight firing pin transmits the energy of the hammer to ignite the primer. After firing, the hammer block holds the hammer away from the firing pin, providing a mechanical safety.

A great little gun. I recently ran 200 rounds thru without any issues. The gun functioned perfectly. Since this pistol is so small and light makes it very easy to carry.

Great first time purchase from Buds gun shop and also my first KelTec pistol, very happy with both, I’ve been carrying the P32 since receiving it, ran 100 rounds thur it at the range with no problems shooting FMJ & hollow points , waiting on ammo from Buds to hit the range with another 100 rounds to finish break in period, P32 so easily to carry and very low recoil for such a small light weight gun

Im no gun expert, but I like this little KelTec 32! Only shot about 40 rounds thru it so far, flawless. With my other handgun being a Taurus 9mm, I found myself not carrying as much as I like due to the size and weight. This Keltec is a pleasure to carry. I noticed a few reviews complaining of accuracy with this Keltec, even had a friend tell me not to buy one for this reason. I dont consider myself a good shot and I impressed myself with the pattern I kept first time out. I couldnt be any more satisfied with this gun

The first 3 shots were misfires. I was very disappointed. After that though it shot great. Light weight, easy pocket carry.

Brilliant design. Assembly is sloppy, 90% of this problem is casting seams and sprues on the polymer frame, recoil guide rod and magazine catch. Once these were cleaned up, and the pistol throughly cleaned and oiled, the pistol is tight and runs smooth. Frame looked blue to my eye, not the 'stainless' gray as advertised. But that's OK, the gun will live in my pocket; not a BBQ gun anyway.

This pistol required some different shooting technique for meas the trigger is different than anything I have shot before. I was having light primer strikes but when I reviewed some comments on several on line forums you seem to need to release the trigger to a greater degree than with most pistols in order to get a trigger reset. Once I consciously and carefully made an effort to change my trigger technique the problem seems to have resolved. Maybe just me. Anyway I otherwise like the pistol.
