Standard mossberg 500, doesn't disappoint always works never jams.

Bought it for my average sized 7 year old, about 4'0" and 55 pounds. It was a little long for him, but he can still safely shoot it. He loves it. It is a great shooting little gun.

Well produced and feels good in the hands. Have had no misfires, even when shooting the gun quickly.

Purchased this new a couple of weeks ago. Either it is defective or I am. It won't rack. The action release button or whatever the term is appears to be stuck. Plan to take it to a gunsmith and have him examine it. Realize that I could send it to Mossberg for warranty repair but have no idea how long that it would take and I certainly don't want a firearm left on my front door by a delivery service. Have never had a pump action before. Only break action. Wish I had stuck with break action. The simpler the tool the lower the probability that it will have a problem. So at the moment I am not thrilled with Mossberg quality control.

Arrived quickly,looks good. Front sling swivel & washer were missing from box when I opened it at receiving dealer. I've contacted Mossberg directly & they said they would ship the missing parts ASAP. so we'll see how long that takes. I have not shot the gun yet.
