This.pistol is semi auto not single correct I see in description it says SOA for action

It is semi-auto with a single action only trigger, such that you cannot pull the trigger without the hammer cocked first. It is the same system as a 1911, for example.

Single action only. You have to have the hammer cocked first. After firing the first round, you can continue to fire by pulling the trigger.

It is single action, but not a cowboy gun.

Hi David, this is a SAO semi-auto pistol. The term SAO is used to describe a weapon that can only be used in a single action mode. Single-action and single-action-only (SAO) guns, like many Sigs, are a type of firearm that requires the shooter to manually c0ck the hammer before firing. This is done by pulling back on it and compressing the mainspring before releasing it, propelling a bullet through the barrel. With a single-action firearm, your trigger pull only does one thing: it releases the hammer. The sole action required for firing is called a “single-action” or single-action trigger. Double-action and single-action (DA/SA) guns can be used in double-action or single-action modes. When firing a DA/SA gun, your first shot will be in double-action mode and have a long, heavy trigger pull. In the subsequent shots, the gun will be in the single-action mode and have a short and light trigger pull. Stay safe & have a great day!

Adjustable in the description is either a mistake or is meant to mean that windage could be adjusted by drifting the sights in their dovetail as they are fixed and not the screw-type adjustment. Is the Desert Eagle 50AE legal in the state of California?

The .50 isn't but the .44 Mag is. In all honesty I like the pistol better in .44, it shots smooth and is pretty dang accurate.

No, unfortunately no 50 Caliber center-fire pistols or rifles are legal in California. The 44 Magnum version of this pistol is legal/ok.

The Mark XIX Desert Eagle is a gas-operated, semi-automatic pistol with a trigger reach of 2.75" and a sight radius of 8.5". The construction of the Mark XIX Desert Eagle utilizes the latest CNC machine technology providing exacting specifications with tight tolerances creating a work of art in a precision firearm. The grip is anatomically formed and provides an ideal hand seating angle for two-handed shooting allowing for comfortable, rapid and accurate firing. Well to say the least, I have been having my eye on this gun for a while. It was hard because I had to justify spending the $$$$. But it was a great choice awesome gun. I am so glad I bought this hand cannon when it was available! My kids and I must've fired 100 rounds through it and had no problems whatsoever. It was 6 degrees in East Tennessee when we took it out to shoot, and we shot mostly frozen watermelons with it. The bullets zipped through them like they were going through paper. While it's a lot of fun to shoot, the costs can add up, and the bullets are usually hard to find. This gun has it all: power, accuracy, and smooth operation. It is a bit heavy and the grip is large, so that's something to take into consideration if you plan on carrying it in the field. My hand fits it and I'm able to fire it one-handed, so I have no complaints. However, some might find it too heavy or cumbersome to lug around. I certainly prefer to carry it in a shoulder rig versus on the hip, because it would drag my pants down. I wouldn't use it for home defense because of over-penetration issues, but I do carry it with me on the mountain in case I encounter a wild boar or people with bad intentions. It's a good defense weapon for bears, but we only have black bears here and I don't anticipate ever having problems with them. If I was in grizzly country, I'd settle on this handgun over any of the others I own. It holds 8 rounds (7 in the mag and 1 in the chamber), which is 3 rounds more than my .500 Smith and Wesson, and the Desert Eagle recoils much less. It's also a lot faster to reload the Desert Eagle versus the .500 revolver. In a second you could have 7 more rounds at your disposal. I absolutely love this pistol! I don't know why I waited so long to buy one.

I have many guns of many calibers, but this 50 AE Desert Eagle is the king of them all when it comes to fun. I have never had so much fun shooting a gun, as I have had with this 50 AE Desert Eagle. I have had no problems with jamming and the recoil is not as bad as I was expecting. As long as you hold the gun as stated in the instruction manual you will be fine. This was gun is awesome.

The handgun came quickly and in perfect condition. The Desert Eagle is much lighter than I thought. I have huge hands so gripping it was no problem at all. I inspected the Desert Eagle before accepting it as Bud's recommends all customers. I will look forward to doing more business with Bud's in the future. I got inspired to buy one from watching Hickok45 videos.
