THE DEFINITION OF BMF!!!! Fairly lightweight which gives it a pretty decent kick but still manageable. Filled both of the included 10 round magazines with 230 ball FMJ, mag up, rack it and pulled the trigger as fast as possible 10 times until it locked open, fast as I could, released the empty and slammed a full mag in, released the slide and sent 10 more down range. From putting mag one in until locking open after it's first 20 rounds I estimate to be around 10 - 15 seconds. If you want a gun to trust with your life, look no further. I really like the format and went into this eyes open. For me the trigger was as bad as described by many and I installed Apex FSS and trigger. Yes it increased the $ but I am very happy with the result. We've been shooting at least monthly since 11/14 with no malfunctions of any kind.

Add an Apex DCAEK kit and you have a sweet, sweet shooter. I have about 500 rds of hand-loads, JHP and store bought stuff through mine and not a single hiccup of any kind. Very accurate and soft to shoot - buy with confidence.

what a great pistol and equally a great caliber! the s and dub m and p forty five is easily the best pistol i've owned, believe me when i say i've owned my far share of pistols. after a few mods, apex duty kit (because in all honesty the m&p 45's trigger is gritty and just plain ol' sucks,) off hand trigger guard notch, stippling; the m&p's stippling is great but i wanted something a little more aggressive (it's pretty cold in erie, pa so i wear shooting gloves more often than not,) night sights and a weapon light it's truly an amazing pistol, like i have already stated easily the best i've owned. it's one i look forward to wearing on my hip during the zombie apocalypse haha.
