This is an update to my previous "review". I finally got to take it out yesterday and put 100 rounds through it. I tried four different brands of ammo. All were 115gr round nose. Two were brass shell, one aluminum. and one lacquered steel. I first loaded 10 in to each mag (went for the 2 free ones, not the $50 rebate). Once those were emptied I loaded 15 in to each mag. No problems at all. From 20 feet away and standing, 4" groups were easy from the first round to the last and I haven't fired a handgun in around 20 years. Aluminum shells did eject up and back versus straight right though. Strange. Excellent gun for the price.

Got mine for $350 and with the two free mags (or $50) straight from S&W how on earth can you go wrong. Received the gun late thanks to UPS's holiday work ethic but was worth the wait. No local shops could be bothered looking for this model or ordering one for me. I ended up with exactly what I wanted for almost $100 less than what was "on sale" near me. The trigger "issue" some complain about with the Sigma line seems nonexistant with mine. I handled two different ones locally and mine is much smoother. So much so that I will probably leave it alone. I will report back after I make it to the range Thanks to Bud's for the great price and service. I will look here first for any future purchases.

Excellent performance from this gun....i was weary about all the trigger pull stuff i've heard, but my gun's trigger is absolutely fine, maybe its because this version of the Sigma is fairly new... have put about 200 rounds thru so far, not 1 jam/FTF/FTE...got a picatinny rail for it and a flashlight, great for home defense...Love the hi-cap mags it came with, case is nice as well....wish ammo wasnt so hard to come by, eeesh! Its very light, and it fits perfect in my hands...really fun to shoot....i would recommend this pistol to anybody, so far its been worth it to save a couple hundred bucks and get this instead of the glock 17 i was looking at. Bud's service was outstanding, ordered wednesday, gun was at my dealer on friday morning, very smooth trasnaction, i've already bought another pistol from Bud's...i dont see a reason to buy anywhere else considering the prices and service from this website, thanks!

Super Price for a S&W ... Just wish they produced them with a manual saftey

Great value! Received today and right out of the box, 15 for 15 "pie plates" from the 15 yard line, good thing, I couldn't get the 16th round in the mag. I am very pleased with the fit and function, trigger pull is smooth, break-down is simple and quick. Sights are clean with dovetail rear, slide release is about the only "cheap" feeling action but functioned well. Magazine well allows nice free extraction and insertion. Recoil is very managable for a light full frame. Thank you Buds for the great service.
