Great gun. Really like the M&P line. The only downside to this gun for me and it's not a huge deal but it has a magazine disconnect safety. Which I didn't recall reading that in the description. But again not a huge deal as it's simple to take out. So great gun would recommend it.

If you want a reliable man stopper, this is it. Large gun, not really a CCW but something that if you find yourself in a life or death situation, just having this beast in your hands gives you the confidence that you are in charge of the situation. love this gun...and buds was great to deal with...took it to the range and it was flawless! cracked off five shots fast and hit target the size of grapefruit at twenty feet! DID I SAY I LOVE THIS GUN!!!

600+ rounds of all kinds. NO FAILURES WHATSOEVER!!! FMJ, JHP, Lead hand loads, +P handloads, it wolfed them all down! Sweet gun to shoot. Very comfortable, well balanced. Only drawback was the initial trigger pull. No, it's not a 1911, it was never designed to be. After some break in time, the trigger got better. I did the burwell trigger job and LOVE IT NOW! Not only smooth, but lighter than the original 6.5lbs. I haven't checked pull with a gauge but I figure I'm at about 4lbs which is just where I'd like it to be. Palmswell grips are frickin sweet! Even my little bitty woman could grip the gun with the smallest grip installed. If you're on the fence about this one, JUST F***ING BUY IT!!! This thing is awesome!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER.... I'm one happy customer :)

Well I bought this pistol to see if it could replace my Glock 21. Sadly no after 200rds I just couldn't live with the trigger it was very bad even after a trigger job it still wasn't close to my Glock with 3.5lbs trigger. The egos are excellent the sights are ok the 10rds are a bummer compared to 13 in the G21. Recoil was much more felt in the S&W. So I tried to like it I even had the trigger done but its not in the same ball park. If your looking for a full size 45 other than a 1911 (which also has alot of felt recoil) look at the Glock 21 models or the Springfield 45 XMD. Look no BS I shoot 180 hot loads in my carry 10mm Glock 29 which would be like the recoil of the 357 mag the M&P 45 felt closer to that than my Glock 21 how knows why but it did. So I still have my Glock 21 and the M&P went down the road at a slight loss after the cost of the trigger job. What really sucks you can't tell about the trigger until you load the gun so dry firing at the gun shop will not help decide if the trigger works for you or not.

Soon after I placed my order, I was informed by several friends to get the model without the safety (not the model I ordered!). So I messaged Bud's, on a weekend. Brandon was so good to work with me, and make that change to my order! I think they were even closed? Although this was my first purchase here, I will definately return! They worked with me (via phone) prior to the sale too, helping ensure I ordered the "accepted" model in my state (CA). And they worked with me after the order was placed, responding quickly. The gun was processed fast, and shipped and received in perfect condition. Thanks Bud's Gun Shop...I could not ask for more.
