Traditional SigSauer reliability. However the E2 grips that came on this P220 are barely adequate and are, in my view, not up to the standards of the rest of the pistol. They are inferior to the previous production grips and strike me as something you would expect to find on a pistol with a much lower price point.

I like E2 grip on the double stack sigs... feels kinda weird on this one though. It is reliable like a P220 should be. Only complaint would be it ejects the brass forward. I couldn't pick up the brass to reload since I was at an indoor range.

Favorite handgun in my collection. Rock solid - built like a tank; over 1000 rounds and only 2 F2F (during the break-in period ...probably me...) Grip was a little thick for my hand, out of the box, but for $100, Sig Sauer will modify for ENHANCED ERGONOMIC (E2) GRIP INSTALLATION. The P220 is a perfect fit for me now, and still more accurate than any that I own. (sig P239, Kahr PM9, Colt Combat Commander). You won't regret owning a Sig P220 Carry.

Part 2: Well, finally got to the range. I've now put about 2 You will not be disappointed and will be so happy with this gun rounds with sing you to sleep every night!

I have many 1911s and I love them all but when it comes to daily carry the Sig is on my hip. It is every bit as accurate and, dare I say, a little more forgiving of ammunition variations. This was my first Sig- now after 3 months I am ordering a P229 to add a little variety. As far as betting your life on something- the Sig is as good a bet as you can make.
