Just picked this weapon up this afternoon so I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but I'm sure i wont be disapointed . This pistol has the perfect combo of class and functiion from the gorgeos rosewood grips to the sigl night sights i cant wait to get to the range and of course buds service was top notch

I purchased this weapon about 9 months ago. After purchasing a Sig P220 about 19 years ago to carry into combat as a Navy pilot, I have never been disappointed with its performance through the years. However, I started looking for another weapon I could conceal carry, I settled on the P229 Elite 40 SW after an exhaustive research and comparison of Kimbers, Glocks, Sigs, Colts, Para Ordnance, etc. I was drawn back to the sig by its ease of operation, simplicity for cleaning and confidence in its reliability to perform when my life may depend on it. I've fired about 600 rounds of FMJ 165 and 180 grain through it. The performance has been flawless. Consistency and accuracy from 3 - 20 yards are amazing. Shot recoil and reset back on target are a great balance. I have confidence I can carry this weapon into any situation and it will fire. Superb handgun that I plan to carry for years to come.
