• Q: What grain amount 22lr bullet are people using with this? What’s good for protection? What’s good for the range?

• Q: I’ve never seen these in a gun shop as I’ve been to 4 shops. I’m new and need a gun. Even this small one will make me feel safe.

  Welcome to the Second Amendment community. As a California resident, I can assure you that this is compliant in our state. If this is all you can afford, I’d say save up another $100 to get something quicker to load, bigger grips, and more ammunition capacity. You can get a California compliant Walther P22 for under $300. It was my pleasure to assist you.

• Q: Would I be able to shoot 22lr shot shells from this without having problems? The tip from the shells are soft plastic or something compared to LRN or hallow tips.

• Q: does this gun have a safety

• Q: I found a nice, very small NAA NAA-22LR Mini-Revolver 5RD 22LR 1.125" at Bud's Gun Shop. I would like to use .22LR shot shells in this one.
  Any thoughts?

• Q: will this revolver fire 22 shorts ok

  Calibers on the menu are .22 Short (a small cylinder w/ matching frame that accepts only Shorts), .22 LR (you can also shoot .22 Shorts), .22 WMR aka .22 Magnum (can be had with a second cylinder for .22 LR/Short), and .22 cap and ball. Even the biggest of the Minis is still pretty darn mini, though.

• Q: Will this pistol safely shoot .22 caliber bird shot ammo??? Have some gophers to take care of and was thinking it would be a good solution?

  If your gophers are like mine at about 6-8 inches and weighing in about a half a pound:
  I have shot and killed rabbits and gophers with 22 birdshot from a 5.5" barrel single action revolver from the porch at 15 feet. With 22 birdshot you may just 'wing' the gopher and that would be considered unethical even for vermin by many modern gun hobbyists. Another alternative, I would speculate, would be a 38 caliber shot shell effective up to 20 feet and maybe more on a little gopher. Now if your gophers are really groundhogs, that is another story.
