Great rifle for hunting, durable, and well, not so lightweight, but it does what it suppose to do with good accuracy and consistant group as long as using the same ammo. Had some initial problems with a recall on the X Mark Pro Trigger from the factory. Made some inquiries and Remington took care of all the shipping cost to and from the Repair Shop. It was some hassle due to removing and replacing all the accessories but safety is a priority to Remington and its good they let us know. Bud's processing and shipping was great as usual. Overall it's a great rifle with no additional problems.

Remington 700 VTR VAR .308 is Beautiful and lite, value for $700, all I can say is WOW!!! Unbelievable gun and very competitive prices. Thanks Bud's Gun Shop!!!

Ordered on a Monday, received it in Kodiak Alaska 4 days later on Friday. Can not believe how fast it got here. The gun is amazing bolt is ridiculously smooth tack driver at 200 yards. Bear season starts in 8 months cant wait

Took about 200 rounds before I could get this gun to hold a consistent group. I have about 550 rounds through it now and it shoots 3/4'' three shot groups with 150 grain cartridges. I blow up milk jugs @ 500 yds with it on a monthly basis and clays @ 300 yds are a breeze. Deer season is just a little over a month away and I'm very confident any nice buck within 400 yds is going down. I'm giving it 4 stars because it took so long to break in, other than that this is an awesome,accurate and aggressive looking bolt action rifle.
