• Q: What is the true barrel length of the 627 Pro 4”? The model 610 advertises as 4” online, but the box is printed as 3.875” which is too short for hunting where I live.

  its the 3.875 which is rounded up to the 4 inches. most game wardens would just look at it and not measure I would ask you local wildlife officer about this

• Q: There seems to be confusion as to moon clips use-the cylinder is cut to use moon clips and they work well if you know how to load the clips. The 357 cartridge does not require the use of moon clips and can be loaded individually or by a moon clip- This is an option and a nice option to have if you want to invest in a clip loader and clip spent round unloader. It is quicker to load and makes it easier to keep up with your spent brass.

  Yes you are correct moon clips are not required on Rimed cases like the .38 special/.357. They are a nice option if your cylinder is cut for them

  Moon clips are not needed for this revolver.
  Usually, moonclips are used for calibers like the .45ACP that cannot headspace in the cylinder due to not having a rim on the case head.
