Received my Xbolt medallion in 5 business days from Buds. Arrived in flawless condition. Have not fired it yet, but set it up for some time at the range. Now on to the rifle itself. Out of the box, the rifle is flawless. Blued barrel (not threaded, nicely recessed crown sporter weight barrel), bluing is even across entire rifle. Scroll work and barrel stampings are even and professionally done. Bolt handle has nice angle to it, but there is no knurling. It looks appropriate for the rifle. Wood is nicely finished with a little grain to it. If you are looking for more figure to the wood, youll have to try and find a safari grade or other higher end model. But given the price, 1050$, youll be very pleased. Rear grip is almost perfectly angle for a sporter rifle. Its slightly oversized but the reach to the trigger is natural. Both front and rear checkering are very good. Wood finish over the checkering is even, without taking away the grip from the checkering. Rosewood caps on both the fore end and pistol grip are smooth and are nicely done. Bottom metal (aluminum) is well matched to the bluing and inletted properly to the stock. The detachable mag fits snugly in, and matches the lines of the rifle. Of course, it had the browning gold trigger and gold (or whatever paint) logo on the trigger guard. The only issue, albeit small, is the recoil pad is slightly proud on the heel of the stock. Its not something that would most people notice or care about, but that is the only smalll criticism. I paired mine with Browning Xbolt weaver mounts (gloss), using old school weaver sure grip gloss rings. Topped with a 20yr old Leupold gloss finished 3-9x40, it looks amazing. The rifle really deserves a gloss finished scope, which are next to impossible to find now.

Real BANG for your buck. Sig quality and extremely accurate best gun I have ever owned it was either it or the white gold but thought the white gold was to shiny so bought this not disappointed
