Based on the good reviews from many places, I decided to buy this gun. It took many days to receive it (5 days to clear the check, couple days to deliver and 10 days waiting period in FLL's place). It was in an excellent condition, it looked great and felt even better. Mounted a Burris steel base, Weaver scope rings and Nikon 6-18x40 scope, brought this gun to the shooting range to try. Just after couple shots to calibrate the scope, it reached 0.5 inches 3 shots group during the break in period. Savage is famous for out of box accuracy, but I did not expect that I could get it during the first day. The bullet were Fiocchi Extrema 50 gr V-max, 40 gr V-max and my own hand load (Hornady 50 gr V-max bullet, Varget 25.5 gr powder, GFL/Fiocchi brass, CCI400 primer). This is the gun I like so much, the bolt action is smooth, the trigger is great, the laminate stock and 26 inches barrel are beautiful and well balanced, and the recoil is almost none exist.
