This rifle makes the already outstanding 243 cal. even better. It's my second Savage and they both shoot very well. I'm not crazy about the DBM but I have learned to live with it. It clicks into place with a degree of quality and fit one would expect from a European builder. The trigger is all it's advertised as and makes this an outstanding bench rifle.

Excellent rifle. Well finished, very nice laminate stock and accurate. May be the best off the shelf rifle I have ever owned.
