As may be obvious due to the magnification of this scope, it is not suitable for short distance shooting (I.e. 50 yards or less without some amount of difficulty). The scope came with scope rings which was a nice added touch. The only negative that I have found is that the front and back lens covers are not stationary and are easily removed or manipulate which may make them troublesome in the future.
