Weapon is well made equal to or better then Remmington 870 Riot. I have owned a 870 and carried one as a police officer for 12 years. Dearler who sold me Escort is a class 7 FFL dealer, He examined the shotgun (Gunsmith-manufactor) and said steel quality is excellent, claims Turkey steel standards are some of highest in world. Action solid, cycles well. Breech attachment rocks. The only word of caution: When my shotgun arrived, we thought it was broken as 2 pieces of plastic fell out as unpacking. Turns out factory inserts the plastic piece to prevent action from closing during shipping. Barrel is crome-moly throughout. A lot of talk on Escort from people who dont own or make claims based on non-factual information. Truth is this is a quality made weapon and can be trusted in time of need.
