  James, yes Sir, they will lock in and function fine in the Legion. Higher capacity magazines than the standard 15rd magazines may extend past the grips. Cheers and stay safe!

  Thomas, yes Sir it will. P226 9mm mags will fit in P228 and older P229 9mm pistols, but of course stick out of the bottom. P226 9mm mags will also fit the newer 9mm P229-1s, but they will be a little loose because they are slightly narrower than the bottom of the gun's magazine well
• Q: I want this magazine but is there major interference, meaning does it stick out compared to the standard factory mag?

  I have a P226 Scorpion Elite and a regular P226. These magazines do not stick out a lot. It’s not even noticeable while operating the firearm. The plate is just slightly thicker versus the flat plate on the factory mag, which I like because I can get a better handle of it. Though not part of your question, they’re reliable.
