The PT 1911 is a beautiful weapon. I've put about 500 rounds through it without any problem whatsoever. Accuracy - dead on the money at 25 yds. My 1st .45, and I'm extremely pleased with it. A little bit of work to clean for a 1st time 1911 owner, but it gets easier each time, now it's no problem. Has a couple of edges on the grip I had to work through, but no complaints. My 1st buy from Buds, and it was pretty good, very convenient. Not my last business with them for sure. I would buy it again.

Love this gun! I received it yesterday afternoon and after a wipe down to remove the packing oil, it was ready to go. Accurate and no FTF or FTE issues. It arrived quickly as promised. Very, very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this 1911 based on previous experience with Taurus. I own two of their SSA revolvers and a Clone of a colt lightning rifle and another 1911. All I think are nice guns and excellent quality. However the last two purchases this one being a PT 1911 in stainless has me very disappointing in the fit and finish. The finish on the slide around the front side is worn off , the back strap sits inside the frame and the edges of the frame on both sides cut the palm of my hand from the recoil on the first firing . The trigger has about 3/8" of an inch creep feels like i am balling up a hand full of aluminum foil. The slide rattles when you shake the gun and the firing pin block was stuck in the slide , I had to pull the slide apart and clean out the bunch of gunk in the slide . Needless to say I am very disappointed in the gun. Based on the last two Taurus purchases and reviews I have read on line it looks like Taurus quality has taken a nosedive.

Just received Taurus 1911 bullhead ss!!!! Sweet buy from buds!!!!! Thanks!!! I read crappy reviews and DO NOT see what some people's problems were. I am very very pleased with my purchase. I was informed I wouldn't get the gun until after Christmas, which I didn't, but was not due to buds guns hop. The ffl I had it shipped to was closed and it only took 9 days to be shipped, very impressive considering it was during the holidays. Thanks for quality products for such a good price! Look forward to my NEXT PLEASANT purchase from buds gunship.com!!!!!!!

The gun shoots great. I have fired 250 rounds with out any problems. Taurus makes great firearms. I have 10 and love them all !

This gun functions perfectly and is very accurate, just had a few scratches on the slide when I unpacked it. Quality control is not very thorough at Taurus. Had I know this, I'd have purchased an American Classic II or American Classic Trophy instead.

This weapon is definitely worth the money. A quality item. The "bullshead" grips are fantastic. Gun also comes with a set of rubber grips and two magazines. Great buy for your money.

First, Bud's service was great. It was shipped the day I ordered it and the emails were timely and informative. We took the gun to the range and 150 rounds of HP and ball were fired with no FTFs or any other problems. Additionally, the gun was very accurate. More so, than my G19. I didn't shoot groups from a bench rest, but I was very, very pleased. I think this gun is a great value and feel even better about my purchase after the 1st day at the range. My only (minor) beef is that I'm not crazy about the matte finish all over. I'll probably have the sides of the slide polished. My 1st 1911... me likey!
