I purchased this pink pistol for my wife for an anniversary gift and she loved it. She hasn't shot it yet, but I'm sure we'll be going to the gun range soon.

I still carry it everyday. Light and compact, fits perfect in my front pocket.

Great gun! VERY light weight and VERY easy to carry and conceal. My new FAVORITE carry gun. Just know that for a .38 spl, the recoil is probably as bad as it gets. I didnt know that .38 spl could be that snappy. If you are looking for a carry gun, you absolutely can not go wrong with a s&w j-frame. If you are recoil sensitive, use standard pressure loads like hornady critical defense, and also get a hogue recoil tamer grip, almost no felt recoil after that. Also could use a lighter trigger spring from wolff or wilson combat (both work great). Get this gun, you wont be sorry.

I ordered this weapon to be used as a backup for work. There is no question that Smith and Wesson is a quality product. As a bonus after reading the detailed description of the package I was elated to discover this gun came with the black grips included. Needless to say the first thing I did was change the grip from pink to black. The j-frame is a small weapon but works perfectly for ankle carry. I ran 200 rounds of plus P ammo through it and was pleased to see that recoil wasn’t as bad as I had expected. I was able to consistently make head shots at 50 yards but the basics are definitely noticeable with this gun at that distance. Bud’s was a pleasure to work with. They continued to remain in contact with me during the short delivery time sending emails almost daily about the status of the order. This was the first purchase I have made with Bud’s but it certainly won’t be the last. Thanks for all you do Bud’s!

As far as we are concerned this is number two in our choice of a Concealed Carry Permit holder as the weapon will handle any +P loads and is outstanding when loaded with CCI Big Shot cogs. Dow here in Florida where snakes are common this revolver is up to the task at ten feet or less. There are no protruding parts and will just slip into your pocket or purse. The only drawbacks are that it is not stainless and the double action pull is quite heavy. Bud's Guns offers several firearms of this make and caliber along with their outstanding customer service.

Gun arrived 3 days after payment. Can't wait to try it ,call me old fashion but I love .38 Specials! Good job by Bud's again . Will continue to use you guys.

Hey fellas, don't be afraid to buy this gun because of the pink grips! I don't know why they are not advertising the fact that this pink revolver comes with a spare factory black grip in the box too! I went ahead and bought a black "Hogue Rubber Bantam Grip Smith & Wesson J frame" from Buds because I did not know it came with one. By the way, the factory grips on this make it difficult to use the 'Safariland Speedloader For Small Revolvers" so the Hogue grip is actually a better choice plus it just feels better anyway. My only complaint about this gun is that if you shoot plus p's be sure not to put too much meat on the trigger, I have cuts on both my trigger fingers because of it, but I do have big hands as well! Still, it's a great gun and I carry it everyday, most times I forget it's in my waistband too!
