900+ rounds later....its eating everything. Good ammo, crappy dirty ammo, Chinese ammo dated 1980s, various bullet weights, and no cleaning between tests. Now it works very well.. I like it a lot.

Further Update.....it did it again after 11 rounds.

MSAR offered to take it back, replace the gun, or send me a bolt carrier. I opted for the bolt carrier for the moment---I wanted to know why. They shipped it to me overnight. Took it out yesterday and 200rds slow, fast, double-taps....same ammo as previous, never failed. Totally different experience. Am I convinced? Not completely, but after another 1K rnds I may be. Accurate to about a quarter size at 25yd range (all I had available local).

Anyway, just reporting the good news as well as the bad. I think it boiled down to a plastic retaining clip in the bolt mechanism, it makes sense as it holds it together, but that is my opinion. If they can confirm it, I will order like 10 of 'em, (the plastic piece).

Update: I received this firearm back from MSAR, took about 2 weeks total round-trip. They identified a problem with the extractor and addressed the issue with an explanation. They paid for freight in both directions and I feel confident they will continue to support any future problems should they arise. I have just received it back, thus I have yet to test fire it since repair. However, MSAR had obviously tested it and cleaned it, as there was some powder residue on the piston (I had cleaned before sending);plus that was in the explanation. I am reporting this as the company was very confident in the weapons reliability, and very keen on customer service. It's a high-quality weapon, just needs love, and maybe some spare parts.
