This gun is amazing! I just received mine and even though it took about a week to get in it is well worth the wait. I kinda knew that it might take longer than usual to get in but Buds is awesome to work with. They're top notch! I can't say enough about this firearm either. This is my third Springfield but my first XDM. I highly recommend this gun for anyone looking at getting into competitive shooting, plinking, or personal defense. It may be a little big for concealment but it rides great in an OWB holster. And the 16+1 capacity is great in the 40 caliber.

This pistol is very nice. My friends hate it because it shoots so nice they think it's cheating to target shoot with it. My 105lb girlfriend had no problem handling this gun. I've put about 500 rounds through it and only had maybe 3 jams total, even after it's hot and rapid firing (even with cheap ammo). It's very easy to break down to clean. I will never buy another pistol for myself. This one is perfect.

Absolutely accurate. Could not believe how smooth it chambered and easy it was to handle.

First off 5/5 stars for Buds! First time ordering from them, and it will not be my last. As for the gun itself, another 5/5. First time out to the range, put 150 rounds through it. Ate it all, including some reloads a friend had. No FTF/FTE issues. Decent trigger, head and shoulders above the normal XD. All in all great gun.

Bud's was EXCELLENT ON THIS ORDER!! Have to mention, when I ordered this I orig. ordered the black/black, then after this OD/Black came back into stock and I wrote and asked how I could change to tis from the black XDM. They said that since I'd been so loyal (I order every firearm through bud's, ALWAYS the cheapest/BEST!) to them over the last 3 year's or so and they did it! I LOVE THIS THING! The two tone finish with the OD/Blk is EXCELLENT! Glad I traded my 3.8 XDM for the $ for this (they gave me a pretty fair $ deal on the trade too, B.T.W.) since I have the XDM .40 CMPT in BLK this uses the same mag, I like only buying one mag that will fit my cmpt as a backup w/full size capacity, 4.5 standard frame, now they have a 5.25 standard fame, awesome!! It's also cool to put the 4.5 on the COMPACT frame, it's cool, but these gun's just feel like they fit my hand. Some people prefer Glock, some XD/XDM's, I'm just an XD/XDM man. It's so nice that there's so many combination's of XD/XDM's now too, (wish they had F.D.E. in the XDM series though,Duracoat?). Love the .40 for it;s mixture of Big Size/High Velocity. It's definitely a keeper.

A very solid weapon. But the short reset trigger is not, in comparison to Sig's short reset trigger. It's more like Sig's normal reach trigger. Buds service is outstanding

Fantastic gun that shoots like a dream. Love the interchangeable backstraps and how easy it is to break down and clean. Great service from Bud's, received the gun quickly and in perfect condition. Would definitely buy from Bud's again. Thanks guys!

Outstanding service from Bud's, as usual and as expected! This gun has the interchangeable back straps which allows it to fit more hands. Easy to take down for field strip. Go to xdtalk website for a ton of user info. This can be for a serious target shooter or for self defense. It is a little large IMO for conceal carry. It is a good gun and it should last quite a while with normal maintenance.
