Awesome basic 700 platform for a good price. Already killed alot of deer with it.

Shipping was fast, gun was as expected. Shoots sub-MOA out the box. Recoil was tolerable. Very pleased

Bud's delivery was fast. Inspected firearm at FFL when I picked it up with no problems noted. Was not able to shoot the firearm until two weeks ago, and it will not extract the spent brass. It is very difficult to open the bolt after discharge of the round; had to use a cleaning rod to push the brass out. I was shooting Remington factory loads, so I'm not sure which is to blame. Called Remington to file a warranty claim, they provided me with a RMA, and it has now become a nightmare to get UPS to come get my firearm; considering I'm like so many others, and have a daytime job, it is difficult for me to be at my home when they show up. I tried the UPS store, and they nearly called the National Guard when I took the boxed up firearm to them. I was told it was strictly prohibited for them to accept this firearm for shipment to Remington. I have now had to pay UPS to come pick this firearm up from my home..... After reading so many blogs and reviews on Remington's Model 700 SPS, I'm starting to wonder if this purchase was a good idea. My older Model 700's are of much higher quality with regard to fit and finish. I think cost cutting measures have affected their quality.

I purchased this Rem 700 for myself for Christmas. The online purchase was easy and understandable. Shipping was extremely quick and since Bud's had my FFL dealer already on file nothing had to be faxed. Great experience and will purchase from Bud's in the future.

I purchased this Left Handed rifle in July 2009. I am completely satisfied and VERY impressed with it. Previously I shot a Left Handed Remington BDL in .270 Winchester and a Left Handed Savage in .264 Win. Mag. The recoil in the .264 was tough before with factory loads. I was concerned this .300 Win. Mag. with a synthetic stock would have worse recoil. Was I in for a surprise! This gun is an absolute joy to shoot. The recoil was no more than my .270. Toppped with a 3-9x Vortex Diamondback scope I am able to keep a 3 shot group a little over 1 MOA with factory loads. I am confident with hand loads and a barrel de-resonator, this gun with group even tighter. Remington has again produced an outstanding quality rifle at a very reasonable price.
