Like all Model 870 shotguns, this workhorse features a receiver milled from a solid billet of steel for maximum strength and reliability. The silky-smooth twin action bars prevent binding and twisting so you'll always have the chance to get off a second shot. Because young shooters are more likely to become stewards of the shooting sports if they are initiated with a gun that fits properly, the 870 Express Compact features a shorter LOP and barrel length than standard 870s for proper balance. It has a durable, synthetic forend and buttstock with sling swivel studs, adjustable LOP (to 1"), and a SuperCell recoil pad for a comfortable shooting experience. These compact 20 gauge models have a 21" vent rib barrel, single bead sight, and Modified Rem Choke. This item has non-glare, matte-finish metalwork, with a stock and forend dressed in Realtree Hardwoods camouflage.

This little shotgun is great, it was a surprise gift for my wife but I will definitely be using it since the 20ga slugs have better ballistics then the 12ga. Arrived in 12 days. I was going to use my usual ffl location but the list provided with amounts of fees was great and i found a closer location. Thanks buds...

This shotgun is awesome and a favorite of my teenage sons who like to shoot skeet with me. Recoil is manageable for ladies and kids too. My wife is taking it out this weekend for a spin. With hundreds of rounds through it already - not one issue. Highly recommend this for target and competitive shooting, as well as for hunting. Received the usual great service from Bud's and had the gun in less than a week after ordering. If you are in the market for a shotgun, go buy this one.
