I purchased this for my then 8 year old daughter last year. We looked at the Crickett youth as well and were less than impressed with its quality. This has been an outstanding first gun for her. She has put over 1K rds downrange thus far and we have had no issues whatsoever with this gun. She has tight groups at 25 and 50 yards. I have found Bud's to offer stellar shipping and customer service with every order.
