This is a perfect one-gun safe for your bedroom closet or in the car with a concealed carry permit. I was able to a Beretta Px4 storm 4 in barrel, two mags, to interchangeable grips, and a small cleaning kit into the safe with no problem. There is a key backup in case the battery dies or you forget your code, but this one is quick and easy access, if necessary.

So far so good. Granted, if someone wants your stuff, there gonna get it, so this and all safes are a road block in a worst case scenario. I really like having my weapon locked up when I'm going in a location with limits on conceal carry. Easy setup, holds 1 midsize and 2 mags.My Glock 19 and Sig P320 fit no issues (again, only 1 at a time).

Excellent safe for a single pistol. I'm able to fit my Taurus 809 and both magazines with no problem. Like others have said the security cable that comes with it is fairly small, but that is more to keep it from easily walking off. Programming is very simple and it only takes a couple minutes to setup.

The GunVault Notebook is an excellent value. I just received my concealed weapons license and needed a place to store my handgun at times when I can't bring it into certain locations, and this has worked perfectly so far. The code input is not as fast as I would have liked, it takes about 10 seconds to get into the safe, but I suppose I cannot ask for anything more than that. I can easily fit my Ruger P95, 2 clips and money in the safe. If you have one of the clips in the gun, you can also fit another compact gun, such as a Keltec or the Ruger LCP without an issue. The cable that comes with the safe is acceptable but certainly not strong enough to stop a criminal with half a brain and a little determination. The padding on the inside of the safe should be sufficient, the whole safe is lined with a thin foam which is supplemented by a thick removable liner. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a compact, portable safe on a budget.
