Shoots very flat trajectory with recoil not much different than 30-06 180gr loads. Grouping 1.25-1.5 inch out of my Ruger Hawkeye, probably capable of better groups in other hands. Nice option for mule deer or large whitetail with this cartridge. Have only bagged one mule deer with this load, fully penetration and decent exit wound.
