Gun not worth 500 dollars, several defects, it shoots sometimes hangs, when cycling. Finish is not that good, looks like a drunk put the sling studs in, and the same guy put the finish on the barrel.

Very fun to shoot. Excellent quality . I have shot 580 rounds through this rifle so far and there has been no problems at all. the first 80 rounds the action was a little stiff . The finish is very nice and the wood is perfect. This rifle is very well crafted. You cannot go wrong with the Rossi RIOGRANDE 30-30 SS 20.

Buds offered great service as usual. The 3030, however, arrived with a few quirks that was surprising for a new product. The rear sight was all bent to hell and off center. Nothing a pair of pliers, rag, and wooden block couldn't solve in 5 minutes. A couple screws on the receiver practically fell out, but a few turns with a screwdriver fixed that. Action is smooth, lines are clean, and feels solid. Haven't shot yet, but it's cleaned and ready to go...once I find ammo.

Love this rifle it is a soft shooter in the 30-30 caliber. Accurate with open sights, the stainless steel is a very nice fit and finish.
