This one has turned out to be my favorite pistol. Well sighted and easy to use.

Very satisfied with buds & the gun itself. This is my first real gun I've had for about 2 months & I now know I made the right choice. I've dropped it, left it in the hot car, fired cheap rounds through it & still no problems. I'm a smaller guy (5'9" 160) so I guess I'll look more into the glock 43 for concealed carry but I've put a little over 350 rounds through this thing & had a blast. Very accurate even for a rookie shooter like myself. I'm glad this gun was recommended & I doubt I'll go with another brand of gun I like this one a lot.

I have owned a 3rd generation version. The gen 4 is improved. I cannot exactly say by how much. It shoots very well and if I ever were to compete in a shooting competition I would probably consider this gun. I have sent at least 500 rounds down the pipe and not a single issue. NONE. As far as Polymer fire arms are concerned the Glock is the gold standard IMO. Accurate and reliable.

The Glock 17 Gen 4 9mm is exactly what I expected from this Glock. I would not in any way recommend it for those looking for a firearm with fabulous safety features to leave lying loaded around the house with untrained and unsupervised kids. However, if you're looking for a gun that shoots accurately and reliably, this is just about perfect. On the down side, I had four failures to extract during my first 20 rounds breaking it in. It would not be prudent to keep this or any firearm for protection without having used it, cleaned it, and broken it in. Also, it's a little big for daily concealed carry if that is what you are looking for. On the up side, I have had no problems of any kind in 200 rounds fired since a cleaning after those first few shots. It has tight groups, the trigger breaks at the same point every time, and this is my favorite target pistol (other than a .22LR) as well as my favorite in the unlikely event of self-defense in the home. I replaced the Glock sites with adjustable tritium sights (Meprolight), doing the work myself, and they are great on the Glock. If this is what you're looking for, you will get exactly what you expect - a great gun for the purpose.
