This gun came with a bad slide and a bad grip panel. I sent it back for repair and was told it would have to be replaced. It has been 8 months and I have not yet seen the replacement. I call Bersa about every 6 weeks for a status update and they keep telling me "Soon" and blaming "Importation Problems" for the hold up. I've owned the gun eight months and haven't seen it in 7 months and 3 weeks now. The replacement may wind up being a nice gun, but at this rate I'll be retired and in a nursing home before I see it! Buyer beware!

Great price for a great 1911! Fast order turn around from Bud's! The only complaint I have are the sites. Upgrade if you get a chance.

This is a great gun. Don't worry about where it is made, it is top quality. Compared to a Colt or Sig no one could tell the difference except the slide says American Classic. Great service from Buds and the gun has not misfired yet. Over 200 rounds through it.

So I bought this as my first starter 1911. So far iv put 100 rounds through it without any problems. Every round fed and never jammed. Buds shipped very quickly as well.
