I had one of these years ago and wish I’d never sold it. Despite its high price it is a quality weapon that is going to last for a lifetime plus. Ultralight that will go into deep concealment and be there when you need it.

Great j frame. No issues with it all. Loads and fires without issue. No recoil. Makes a great pocket carry option in the woods, and also as a surrogate for my .38 special j-frames for cheap practice. Trigger pull is heavier than with centerfire j-frames, but that is necessary for reliable detonation of rimfire ammo. Helps strengthen the trigger finger.

I really like this revolver. No malfunctions. Very light.

This is a super solid revolver. It is accurate and will last years. If you carry a J frame I highly suggest getting this to practice. You can shoot hundreds of rounds developing the muscle memory for a snub nose revolver that feels just like a 38/357 carry gun.

I love the J Frame. I've carried one for many years. My youngest daughter was widowed last year. I was able to provide her with three J Frames: one for her and one each for her adult twin daughters. Two were in .38 and one was my coveted 43C in .22 LR. My preference for them was the hammerless J Frame. I owned four and kept one in .38. I consider the hammerless J Frame to be the safest concealable gun on the market. I don't think it's possible to have an accidental discharge with it. That was my primary reason for providing these three novice women with that particular weapon. This purchase replaces the one I gifted to my daughter so I now have my favorite EDC piece in hand. For those of you who scoff at believers in the lowly .22 LR I can only offer my own limited, but hard-earned experience: IMO, the only round with weaker ballistic performance is the .25 ACP. I have always been a minimalist and carried a Baby Browning as my backup in the 60's as an LEO. I wanted to fill this role with a .22 but the only affordable pocket version available at the time was the S&W Escort. I bought one but quickly found it was an unnecessarily bulky and unreliable POS. I've shot three men with .25 auto. All three altered their activity with only one shot to persuade them-one permanently. With proper shot placement, a .22 will, IMO, do the job. The 43C is light, small and dependable. I recommend it for anyone as a safe and effective EDC. I trust mine...

Very disappointed with this purchase. It is a very expensive snubby in .22 LR. Over $700.00 plus shipping and tax. The trigger felt like sand paper, the cylinder would hardly open. I had to press very hard on the release, and then it didn't want to come out very easily. Luckily I have a friend who spend a good deal of time removing burrs etc, and now it does run fine. I put 300 rounds through it without a problem. But I expect much more from SW, especially for a high priced gun. Bud's Gun Shop is easy to deal with, I appreciate them.

What a little revolver! This gun is all it is chalked up to be in the praise about it. You will appreciate it's factory XS dot sight and incredibly low carry weight. Makes an awesome little kit gun, trainer, or extreme ultra light carry gun (if you can master the trigger), when you feel you need more of a complete gun rather than a NAA mini revolver or the like. The only improvements I could suggest is solid grips rather than rubber which is easily corrected, and a color other than white for the front XS dot sight, which is also easy to correct!
