The rifle is offered in four widely popular calibers: .270 Win, .30-06 Sprg., .243 Win and .308 Win., and features a free-floating, button-rifled barrel. This powerful combination delivers a high level of accuracy unheard of in a value-priced centerfire rifle. A side lever safety is utilized for convenience and safety afield, and the all-steel, machined receiver provides the 100 ATR® with positive lock-up for consistent operation. Haven't fired the gun yet, but so far is seems well worth the money. The stock is very sturdy and it truelly is a floating barrel. The action cycles very smoothly and doesn't have much slop at all. It cycles rounds no problem. My only complaints are after you fire the gun ( dry fire) the bolt is very hard to lift up, but once its up it cycles great. The gun also had some cosmetic flaws on it but nothing affecting performance or function. All in all, its a great looking gun that feels very solid and reliable and feels like it will be an awesome deer hunting rifle. I'm happy, especially with the price!

Ordered a few guns from Biuds. this was the fastest shipped of them all. Got it to TX in 3 days. Great job Bud's. I want to say we looked at Ruger Americans (and I'm a Ruger man), Remingtons, Savages both Nextech and Axis, and several others; Mossberg has best muzzle crown, best looks, best magazine capacity, and a lot more, He ordered several different calibers to sell. The Walnut is beautiful to say the least, and the fluted button rifled barrel is awesome. I wish I could afford another before the price goes up. I know I made the right choice, and my dealer agrees. The range proved it too. When regestering I found out that now Mossberg does not have a registering part of their site, they suggested I contact BATF, that just plain SUX, they said to keep my reciept, it was warrantied for a yr. Other than that, glad I bought this gun.

This rifle, although kicking like a mule, is one hell of a tack driver. I read a lot of reviews on this rifle before buying, and I made the right choice. For the hunter on a budget, this rifle cannot be beat. I'll put this rifle up against any 700 out there, and on more than one occasion, have. As far as delivery and service, Bud's didn't do anything that stood out one way or another.

Great rifle for the money. Purchased this in .308 as a gift for a deer rifle and I couldn't be more impressed with the gun. The action is smooth and it feeds nicely. The fluted heavy barrel is a nice addition. The adjustable LBA trigger is one of the best factory triggers I have shot. As far as accuracy goes, it will shoot 1" groups at 100 yards using hornady ammo. The finish is matte but it's perfect for a hunting rifle that's going to be in the briers. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
