Fabulous selection for the person wanting to hunt big game and long distance. Personally, the caliber and power was significantly to much for me. The 338 win mag is a powerful and straight shooter and this mossberg is a quality and efficient way to get into big calibers

this rifle is amazing.hardly any recoil ,great at long distances due to the barrel length and muzzle break

I have read several reviews on this rifle, some good but mostly bad. I went ahead with it because I like to make my own opinions. People mostly talk about its a cheap gun. For the record I own remington, savage, browning and weatherby rifles. As far as then gun goes its unreal as far as the stock goes yes it feels cheap. I bought this though for the price, I didnt expect Browning quality and its not on the stock but as for the gun it is. I was shooting two days ago about 40 rounds at 200 yards less than a half inch group. This is a budget gun and for the working man who loves to hunt in the real world. Since i am a for the working man i think its an awesome gun for the money. I will hunt with this all day long. Trigger is crisp scope mounts are nice finish is great! What more do you need? We all know buds is awesome and the best around so hats of to you all also.
