Catching up with old reviews I did not do. Buds is the Best. Shot gun has been flawless. Sadly discontinued.

Purchased this terrific Mossberg from non other than Bud's Gun Shop.com about one year ago. Smooth action, easy to handle and a pleasure to fire, especially with the added muzzle brake feature. However, I added to the ease of firing by replacing the Mossberg pistol grip with a a Blackhawk Breachers, Recoil Reducing Pistol Grip with a Recoil Reduction feature. Between the two features, the Muzzle Brake and Blackhawk grip, I estimate the recoil is reduced by about 70% and it allows me to comfortably fire the shoot gun with only one hand. This will fit 12 Ga. Models: 500...590...835...and... 88. One terrific home defense weapon !!! My opinion: " The Best There Is."

Gun looks great. Installed a folding stock. Scary looking, can't wait to fire it. Perfect weapon for home defense. Buds, as always, delivered quickly and without any issues.

Expected nothing but the best from Mossberg, and received just that. I ordered this shotgun on December 29th and still received it Friday January 2nd. This was my first purchase from budsgunshop, and won't be my past. I already have a Kel tec PLR 16 put on layaway. The Roadblocker has a smooth action and still produces a decent sight picture with the bead on top of the muzzle break.

Gun was exactly as I expected! I have been looking at the Mossberg for over a year and let me tell you it was worth the wait! Looks really cool and also a great home defense. Field stripped it right out the box with ease. Will take it to the range soon and I'll let u know how it does. Thanks Bud's got the gun in 3 days! Will be buying from a lot more often!

Nice Pump action. I have only shot bird shot through it. I will eventually pick up some slugs just to see how bad it kicks. Bird shot is nothing though. Really a fun gun at the range.

I received the Mossberg 500 Roadblok and this shotgun is a beast ! I have'nt shot the gun yet and already I"m sold on it just by the looks. When the shot gun was delivered to my local gun shop one of the shops dealers was writing up the gun and could not keep his eyes off the gun. As I was leaving the shop the gentleman yelled "excuse me sir can I get one more peak before you go".Its a Beauty !!

Arrived yesterday,put 30 1oz 2 3/4" slug rounds and 50 rounds of 00 3" magnun rounds through it. All I can say is God help the poor criminal who enters my domain at 3am. This is not a hunting weapon this is a self defense weapon with the muzzle brake second , third and forth shots are dead on. God Bless Mossberg and Sons and Buds Guns as INHO both are the best at what they do

I've bought two guns from Bud's & both experiences have been pleasent. As for the RoadBlock, it was exactly what I expected to be. 5 Stars.

Sorry bout taking SO long to leave my review; I purchased this gun on 10/15/10. BUT, because of a few 'roadblocks,' my fun was to wait. When it arrived at my FFL I observed the pistol grip being seperate from the shotgun. I thoughtlessly acquired this as a seperate item that was required of me to attach at home. Upon inspection of both the gun AND the manual I realized that the pistol grip was actually broken off(that sinking feeling approached in my stomach)! So I called Buds. To some disarray, they informed me that A) they couldn't take it back, and B) they had no replacement parts and for me to call Mossberg. I was abit dissapointed to hear Buds not being able to do anything. So... I called Mossberg and they looked up my serial #. They notified me that my gun came jam-packed with a 10-yr. warranty(Fairly impressive) and that all I needed to do is send it via UPS/FedEx to their service center in Eagle Pass TX to get fixed. I did so. Once they fixed it they sent it back to the same add. that I sent it from(a local Postal Annex). Then I cleaned it up and went shooting today in 35mph winds. I didn't care if there were mass tornados, I WAS GOING TO FINALLY TRY THIS BABY OUT!!! I've gotta tell you, the reader, just one thing: If you're looking for a fairly inexpensive shotgun that looks both tactical and defensive/offensive THIS is what you want! I was curious to see just how much recoil the muzzle brake would dampen. I've shot an old(1955) 20g. autoloader, a Remington 870 16g. and 12g.! The recoil of the Mossberg Roadblocker was that very similar of a 20gauge, MAYBE a 28guage(even though I've never shot a 28g.). I've only shot birdshot Federal through it. This gun is ROCK ON, and the absolute ONLY reason I'm rating my transaction a 4/5 stars is because I received the gun with a broken pistol grip. Whether it was Buds' fault or UPS I don't know. But because it was sort of a hassle waiting for it to get fixed I'm rating it 4/5 stars on the transaction/experience. But, make no mistake, the gun itself COMPLETELY deserves a 6/5 stars for quality, dependability, and all-around fun!!!
