This is such a great pistol, one of my favorites. Carry confidence soars with back up magazine options. Switching between 10 rounds to 17 to 32 is really fun. Sights that come with it are good in lighted situations but you have the option to go with fiber optic pipes or even night sights. Accuracy is great from a compact gun that is concealable. I enjoy carrying it but not everyday, it is tad too big for my frame as I am only 5,9" 140 lbs. but if STHF it is the gun I want on me. Functions beautifully! Ambidextrous mag release, a safety if you want to use it, I don't, but it has one. For a double stacked mag the gun is slim while still remaining stout. It's about as close as you come to the perfect gun - a range gun - a home defense - a conceal and carry . Buy it if you are thinking about it. Budsgunshop is the best. First trip out, put 200 rounds of FMJ 115's with out issue. Along with about 100 rounds of JHP ranging from 115-147 grain. All shot flawlessly and sights were fine out of the box. Had 2 shells in the first mag not eject completely and get caught in the slide but I think that was do to stiff recoil springs. I didn't even clean it first. Opened the box, loaded, and shot it. Sig V crowns, nosler, monarch, federal hollow points all fed great. This model also came with a speed loader which comes in handy when loading 4 mags at a time. The 10 round and 17 round mags run smooth. Overall, very pleased I finally bought one. Replaced my taurus pt111 as my EDC for now. Just handles better. Will be buying the full size but in either 40 or 45.

Not too bad of a pistol, but the full size SR9 is way more comfortable to the hand. Accuracy is great, just got to break in the recoil spring by cocking it back and leaving it like that overnight. Buds did a great job getting this little shooter to my FFL asap and packaged very well. Thanks Buds!

Ruger really hit a home run with their SR9/SR9C handguns. The trim profile and handling qualities of this handgun is outstanding! The trigger is much improved than my SR9. It shoots like a house on fire and I couldn't be happier. The safety features are a plus. If you're looking for a compact, reliable striker fired pistol, this is the ONE!

Excellent turnaround from Buds; now after several trips to the range and some 250 rounds, the SR9C is a favorite. Fits well in my hand, functions without a hitch. Dead on target. This is a well designed weapon. Highly recommended.

Buds once again is great to deal with and has the best price. Wish i was able to get my gun as quick as some of the others did as I placed my order 1am EST 8.21 showed processing till I called 8.29, when i was told it wasn't in stock, but it would drop shipped, hmmm. Anyways that call got the ball rolling as 8.30 it showed shipped and my FLL got it 9.1. After waiting my 10 days I picked it and took it home and cleaned the excess grease out, next day shot 200 rounds, the Federal 115gr worked flawless but had 10 or so FTF with WWB 115 gr, turns out they were light strikes as I reloaded them and they fired second time, otherwise no issues with gun other than sights were off, shot low and to left. Bore sight at range and were hitting the bull from 10 yards, next trip go for 15 then 25 yard targets. Racking the slide at first was little hard, very stiff spring, worked on it at home prior and then after 200 rounds soften up a tad. I like the gun alot, more so for the price buds sells it for, great bang for the buck if your in the market for 9mm in a smaller size. I guess my only complaint is the front sight with my eyes in afternoon, going to either get day glow on it or replace it.

First handgun I have owned. $100 less than local retailer and that included the transfer fee. So far I have shot 60 rounds of Winchester White Box and had 2 misfires, but I chalk that up to hard primers, put them back in the gun and they fired. Took about a week to get the gun to the FFL (waiting for the e-check to clear), but all in all customer service was great. Operator answered all my questions about CA regulations. I love this gun and when I shop for another, I will check Bud's first.

Picked up pistol yesterday from FFL. Have not been to range but this feels great in my hands. The size is very good for CCW. The one caveat I would put out there when ordering is unless you are in MA or CA make sure you are ordering the package that comes with the 17 rd magazine. I have two 10 rd and no capacity restrictions. Not a big deal but I didnt ask either!!! Service at Buds was very good (other than the magazine thing and that is 90% my fault, shoulda asked) and they had the gun to m FFL in about 36 hrs. Wouldnt hesitate to do business here many times
