Charles, I don't think these will work on the Rock Island AK/22 due to magazine feed tower design and location(Rock Islands are at the "front" and this is at the "back' of the magazine. You should be able to get a "definitive" answer from Rock Island/Armscor Customer Support at Phone: (632) 656-5344.

Got this to go with my GSG Riffle (they fit and are the factory replacement) and I like shooting the thing just for fun. Grand kids like it as it looks like an AK47 and they can shoot tin cans as fast as they can pull the trigger. Much cheaper than AK rounds.
