Excellent firearm and well price by Buds guns. Thank you guys.

I received this gun and it runs just as expected. My only complaint would be the front soft on the firearm seems to be defective due to it having a dead night sight insert and it is difficult to pick up. Other than that, no complaints. Buds gunshop was easy to work with and processed my order in a timely fashion

100 rounds thus far with no issues. Beautiful fit and finish. Light. Nice trigger. When I drop the slide on a loaded mag it feels extremely smooth as it feeds. It’s a nice feeling to have a 1911 with no issues out of the box. I have yet to try JHP’s. If no issues arise there then I have the perfect pistol.

Purchased from Bud's three weeks ago - arrived within one week - have shot almost 600 rounds since receiving the gun. I am very pleased with the craftsmanship and operation. It is tight, accurate, perfect weight for carry - just what I was hoping! The included magazines (2 nine rounders) work great - no malfunctions at all - just ball ammo so far. I have several Wilson Combat 10 round 9mm magazines which do work with this gun. I am only loading to 9 rounds until the gun gets broken in a bit more. Grips are great and the sights were good for me (set between POA and 6 o'clock). I feel confident shooting this gun and once I have 1,000 rounds (with some hollow points) through the gun, I plan on making it my primary carry gun. I currently have two Kimbers (Pro Carry II and Super Carry Pro) in .45 which are also excellent firearms - but wanted have a 9mm option for less recoil and getting back on target more quickly.I highly recommend this firearm.

This was the second Dan Wesson semi auto bought from Bud's and reviewed. Bud's has been first rate with its service and delivery. The DW Guardian is a beautifully made firearm, fit and finish excellent. To date have fired several hundred rounds of 124 gr FMJ ammo with 2 failures to feed. Accuracy is excellent and little/no recoil. Sights also are excellent. Grips are nicely done. Only changes to be made are the grips for aesthetics and magazines for better reliability. Highly recommend Bud's and the Dan Wesson Guardian.

I am really impressed with the fit and finish of this Dan Wesson Guardian. This is my first 9mm 1911 (other than a Sig 938) and it is very soft shooting, of course, when compared to my standard 5" Kimber Classic Royal and Springfield Range Officer Compact in .45 ACP. I have only put about 200 rounds through the Guardian so far with absolutely no issues like FTF or FTE. After another 100 rounds, or so, I will seriously consider making this my EDC gun as it is considerably slimmer than my Glock 19 (Gen5), I already have two 1911 holsters which fit it perfectly, including a N82 Tactical. I have found that the sights are right on at 30' and easy to acquire quickly. As expected, it was a little tight to disassemble and re-assemble - especially the barrel bushing. The grips feel good in my large hands and I do not miss the checkering on the rear of the grip like I was concerned about. I believe this is my 11th purchase through Buds and have always been pleased with their business model. I belong to two gun clubs and always make it a point to endorse Buds.

From the first round the round count 2250 this has been a fantastic firearm, without one hiccup no matter the ammunition, accurate, fun to shoot and a pleasure to carry.

I've only shot this gun once, but I was very impressed with it. It's accurate, the changes made to the slide stop by DW make it a snap to reassemble without scratching the frame. I highly recommend not only the DW Guardian, but also Bud's who made the transaction easy. I'll continue to give Bud's my business as they've been a pleasure to deal with over multiple transactions.

First and foremost, my experience with ordering, processing, order updates, shipping and shipping updates was top shelf. Buds met my expectation level each step of the way. I enjoy purchasing products from companies who perform as they state on their website. I thoroughly researched this purchases and decided on the Dan Wesson Guardian in 9mm. I have owned this gun for two weeks and have shot 500 trouble free rounds through it. FMJ was used for the break in and then I mixed in some 124 gr +P self defense rounds. My previous CCW gun was much smaller and more difficult to shoot but lighter to carry. The DW has reduced my groups SIGNIFICANTLY as well as increased my confidence. Recoil is extremely minimal with very quick follow ups are easily placed on target. Checkering on the front strap and grip panels are more than enough to secure my hands to the grip with no slippage. My only modification to this gun is an ambi-safety which I will need to purchase and install. I want to be proficient with both hands and this modification will allow me operate the safety with both thumbs. Dis-assembly, cleaning and re-assembly are as stated in the manual or videos on YouTube. Holster is an RGrizzly dual carry (War-Pig) which I just received. Planning on making this gun my EDC on the weekends and evenings away from work. Way to hit the mark Buds with an EXCELLENT product. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Picked the pistol up this morning. This thing was covered in more oil than any pistol I ever received. I wiped it down, field striped it and wiped it down more. I ran a few patches down the barrel and gave it a good look over. This is the first pistol that I did not lube before re-assembly because of the amount of oil that was on it, only wiped some oil off of it, not kidding when I say it was like it had been dipped in oil. Anyway, took it out to run some rounds through it, it is cold today with a steady 10 mile an hour wind. so I only ran 50 rounds of round ball and 9 hollow points through it, all 115 grain and only at 15 yards. It fired every time and dropped the brass about 2 feet to my right, that stayed about in a 2 foot circle.it was fairly accurate with several touching 3 shot groups but those groups were 2-5 inches apart. I will blame it on the wind, it was blowing me around some, that's my story and I am sticking to it. Love the pistol, 100% all the way. I have 4 other Dan Wessons and for the price they cannot be beat. This one is a beauty, I had a Guardian in 38 super but sold it to get this one. There is not much difference in 38 super and 9mm except 9mm is much more cost afective and having other 9mm pistols I can pretty much keep my pistol ammo to 9mm and 45 acp. And to those who say "why don't you reload", I do but this keeps it more simple. I have it stripped again, grips and all, to get as much oil off as I can. Anyway, If you think that you want this pistol, get it, you really can't beat a good Dan Wesson, and you won't be sorry. In my opinion anyhow, for what it is worth.
