The new CZ 455 is the next generation of the CZ bolt action rimfire. The 455 model will eventually consolidate all of the receivers currently used in the 452 line into one common platform. This combined with the new interchangeable barrel system of the CZ 455 will allow the user to easily change the stock configuration as well as the caliber of their rifle. The 455 retains the accuracy and quality of the adjustable trigger, hammer forged barrel and billet machined receiver from the CZ 452. Improvements that the 455 brings include new manufacturing technology and tighter tolerances for improved accuracy and smoother operation. The American model is the first to see the benefits of the change from 452 to 455.

Ordered the CZ 455 American 22WMR from Bud's and decided to wait until I got notice of shipping and a tracking number before alerting my local FFL. The next morning I got a call at 10:30 from my FFL telling me that they had recieved a CZ for me. Later that afternoon I got an email saying the rifle had been shipped.
Talk about service and fast shipping, the rifle beat the email!!
Not sure how they did that, but only mental telepathy could be faster.
This is about the fourth item I've purchased from Bud's and the service has gotten better each time.
Oh, and the CZ is the most accurate 22 WMR I've ever had. Good balance, nice wood stock and good trigger.

Rifle arrived in excellent shape. Mounted a ProStaff 3x-9x scope, sighted it in and found the rifle to be very, very accurate. My only minor dislike is the safety - it pushes forward for the "safe" position and pulls back for firing. That seems backwards to me. And incidentally, my wife enjoys shooting the rifle as well. What a deal!

I own a CZ handgun and the Scorpion, but I had not owned one of their rifles prior to buying the 455 American in .22 WMR. The fit and finish of the rifle is of great quality and the bolt functions reliably. What really surprised me was the accuracy. I was able to shoot 0.50-0.75 inch groups at 75 yards (haven't shot it at 100 yards yet). My only advice would be to order CZ or Talley high rings. I mounted a Vortex Diamdonback HP 2-8X32mm with Talley Low rings and there was not enough clearance for the high bolt throw. Overall, this is my favorite rimfire rifle to shoot compared to the Marlin semi-auto, Remington bolt action and Savage bolt action I have.

Received rifle from buds easy & fast as usual - stock was striped figured both sides & beautiful. Finish of metal. Is excellent as was wood. Don't know if buds luvs me or I am just lucky. These rifles are best value by far compared to other brands, as I have several other 455s which are quite accurate better than the factory target in box.

Second CZ 455 I ordered from Bud's Gun Shop, a 17 HMR and this time a 22 magnum. This time processing and shipping took way less time. CZ good stuff, great price, very satisfied.

CZ455 American, 22 Mag, Walnut stock. When I picked the rifle up from the dealer it was shipped to, we were both very impressed by the overall quality of it. I mounted a Redfield Revolution 3X9 scope on it and took it out to the range. I started at 25 yards to sight in the scope and went out to 150 yards. With some old Winchester 40 grain WMR I've had for years I could shoot single hole 5 shoot groups at 50 yards. I also ran CCI 40 grain solids and HPs with equal results. I had purchased some Hornady 30 grain ballistic tipped rounds and I couldn't believe how accurate and rangy these were! At a measured 125 yards standard WW and CCI mags were about 5" low...these 30 grain Hornadys were hitting 2" high. Granted this was a calm day with temps in the 80s but this was awesome! In the months since I've had all three of my grandsons shoot this rifle and all three loved it! I would definitely recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a superb .22 caliber rifle.

CZ 455 American Walnut Stock - Nice gun, clean lines and very pretty wood stock. I have not fired it yet but enclosed test target indicates it is more accurate than me. The barrel is blued and attractive but not gorgeous, the trigger guard and trigger assembly are the cheapest looking part on this rifle but the trigger has a clean, not crisp break. Overall very happy with this rifle and recommend. Easy change barrels just an added benefit. Buds – Not a fan of box stores but Buds seems to consistently stock difficult to find new products. Three purchases from them have all been flawless.

Great gun,excellent craftsmanship, nice stock, no plastic, smooth & accurate action. Note the barrel is actually 20.5" though. Buds had the best price & quick delivery too! Also this gun has an interchangeable barrel system (I wish Bud carried the other barrels?) Dollar for dollar best buy out there for a bolt action rimfire - you will love it! Thanks Bud!
