Hi-Point's 995TS 9mm carbine has an all-weather, polymer skeletonized stock with an internal recoil buffer, multiple Weaver-style rails, a sling, swivels, and scope base. It has a quick on/off thumb safety, grip-mounted clip release, last round lock open feature, and fully adjustable sights (post front, peep rear). The 995TS carbine has a 16.5" barrel for an OAL of 31". Hi-Point produces affordable, American-made firearms featuring 100% American parts and assembly. Hi-Point carbines are +P rated and accept all factory ammunition. This model features a forward folding grip. It has a black stock with black metal finish and includes a 10-round magazine. (The mag is not compatible with C9)

Very nice firearm first day I brought it to the range was unable to get it to work for some reason definitely user error contacted support they were unbelievable very kind people lifetime warranty amazing gun for the money highly recommended once I finally shot at the other day very happy

This is my first Hi point and first carbine so I didn’t know what to expect but so far I’m very pleased with this gun. Haven’t shot it a ton yet but it’s went bang every time I’ve pulled the trigger. It’s nothing fancy but it works and that’s what I wanted/needed.

What's to say? It's reliable, reasonably accurate and ugly. Hard to hate on it for ugly when it's not had a FTF, FTE in years and it just keeps on going despite abuse and neglect. In fact, I liked it so well, I invested in a bullpup kit for it...now it's not so ugly, unless you dislike bullpups.

This is one to have in the collection. It shoots and handles amazingly! I added a nice scope and it’s weight helped a lot with the recoil. 9mm but i want to have the 45 one day just for fun at the range. Its a great home defense carbine because of how reliable it has been! I recommend this to anyone starting off their collection. Great quality too! Highpoint hasn’t disappointed yet!

Pretty darn good gun. Hi points definitely have a reputation for being cheap guns that can withstand abuse. Probably put close to 1000 rounds through it. Just a couple feed failures, but no major issues. I give it 4 stars because the cleaning is a pain. Because it is a pain to clean, I can say I've only taken it apart 3 times to do so.

This thing is just too cool. I’ve added several accessories that make it even better. The lifetime warranty is awesome as well, considering this thing is only $300 bucks. I ordered on a Thursday and it was delivered on Friday to my FFL. Thanks again Buds!

I let a neighbor of mine store a couple of his guns in one of my gun safes. One of them was a Hi Point like this one and I ended up using it as a prop in a photo shoot. A photographer friend of mine was reviewing the photos and he said, "Hey I like that little rifle." So I decided to surprise him and buy one for his birthday, not knowing anything about it, other than the price. So when it arrived, of course I was going to have to try it out. I live out in the country and have my own shooting range so in a matter of minutes I had magazines loaded and hearing protection on. The first thing I noticed was how accurate it was. Even with open sights that gun was shooting groups tighter than it was supposed to. Next, I put one of my early generation night vision scopes on it and went out hog hunting that night and dropped a nice sow. The next morning I had to call my friend and tell him that he was going to have to wait until I ordered another one before he can call it his.

I no longer have this firearm, but I had no issues at all with it. I did have issues with aftermarket mags, but I blame the mags, as the stockers worked just fine. I found it no longer suited what I was looking for, through no fault of it's own. The only 'knock' I would give it is weight. I am of smaller stature, so that may mean nothing to others.

With Any Hi Point product you will know your getting a well made gun. The 995 9mm at 6 Pounds is not the lightest carbine available, but it does feel well balanced. I put about 200 rounds of different ammo with only 2 (maybe 3) jams. After carrying it around and getting a good feel for the this carbine I am happy that I purchased it. I pray I never need it for a defense weapon but feel it will take down anything I face, just depends on who shoots first! Hi Point does not get many reviews but I have the C9 and have put it through the mill and it is a very capable weapon. For the money both the 995 and the C9 are well worth it. Stay Safe and Remember - Keep That Nose Covered
