I love this rifle. (I'm making myself love this rifle since I've put a small mortgage into it). It is very accurate and reliable. I've had no issues whatsoever. But it has been a money pit for me over the past year. Be prepared to upgrade the trigger. I definitely didn't like the stock trigger. It was terrible. I didn't like the proprietary magazine deal. So upgraded to handl defense lower. Hmmmm more money out the door. Put a Midwest fore-end on it to make it look cool. Put a Vortex Razor on it and now it is a perfect setup for me. I could've bought a nice used truck for what I've put into this.... And now the kicker... now my wife wants one just like it..... sigh... I guess I will give her mine and start over on a new one in the near future. A happy wife is a happy life.

Great job on Buds end. The rifle............is AWESOME!!! If you enjoy firearms and the respect what the 308 can do, you will not be disappointed. Had to wait years to get my hands on this thing. Not disappointed in any way. Geissele trigger is recommended, other than that its great. Don't blow your house payments on it, but if you can, buy one and enjoy it!

Wow, what else can I say except that. The Scar 17 is the ultimate 308 battle rifle. I've only been able to shoot it out to 200 yards but it did not disappoint. Eats all kinds of ammo without a glitch. If you can get your hands on one do it. It's the only rifle you'll ever need.

Truly an awesome gun! As always buds got it shipped out fast and it was at my dealer within a couple of days and picked up! This gun is high quality and no other .308 semi auto compares to this one. Yeah it's pricy but well worth it!!!

Thoroughly awesome gun. Accurate and lightweight for a .308. If I had to carry a rifle all day this would be my choice. The one thing I would like to see is FN utilize the barrel change option to provide shooters with alternative calibers and barrel lengths. For the money they should have also thrown in the tool kit that shows up on the internet at outrageous prices. At least make the tool kit available as an option. They certainly provided lots of accessories for the PS90 so I don't see why they don't with the SCAR's.

This rifle kicks butt works flawlessly through 200 plus rounds no problems. Not cheap but worth the money. I was expecting a heavy rifle but this is one of the lightest I have in this format. If you can find one buy it. Another flawless transaction through Buds

This gun is extremely nice. Hands down my current favorite gun to go shoot, minus the ammo bill that goes along with it. FN makes some superior products, granted they do come at somewhat of a superior price tag. However, I am a strong believer in you get what you pay for. Only issue I have currently is the trouble trying to find extra mags in stock. When you do find them they are a bit pricey, but then again what isn't pricey about this setup. If I had to make the decision all over again I'd make this exact same purchase which in my book says a lot for a product. If you can afford it pull the trigger, you won't be sorry you did!
