Awesome rifle and great to shoot very accurate

Service good. Gun received in good time, good shape/packing. Shot a few magazines through it. No problems so far. Expect it will be a lot of fun. Very pleased overall. I am already a return customer with Buds, I'm sure it won't be the last time.

I went to my local FFL dealer and picked up my GSG 522 Rifle and it is AWESOME! I was told by the FFL dealer I deal with that it is perfectly LEGAL to put a folding stock on my GSG 522 Rifle as long as it is 16 inches or longer mine is. I think these rifles are pretty sweet and if anyone has any doubts....... Buy one and then Judge For yourself. I know you will be Very Impressed with the Quality. I plan to buy another GSG 522 from budsgunshop soon.I have shot it once with the POWDERLESS 22LR round and it is sweet as hell. I already own the GSG 522 Pistol and that one is sweet as well. All in all like I said before these are not only AWESOME but, they are fun to shoot as well. Buy one and see for yourself. I give these guns a 5 star rating and Buds as well. Very good product; very satisfied. It is a little embarrassing lugging around a 22LR tactical, because it looks cooler than it really is. Nevertheless, it is a very good entry-level tactical firearm. The GERG-522 is a tactical-looking rifle, 22LR caliber, faux suppressor, knob-style rear iron sight, 22 1 magazine, ambidextrous. Overall, it's feel is good, lightweight, and the center of gravity is at the breech; I used it to carry around when away from the range. The magazine fit snugly but proved to be a little problem. The "follower" must be held for each round and to more than that. Also, be sure to let the follower up to set the rounds after each insertion. (I'm used to the Ruger's 22LR pistol which allowed me to hold the follower farther down to add more than one round.) If the rounds get jammed, extraction is difficult. Unlike other firearms, this will not let you overload the magazine, a good thing, because I don't have to count. After running 400 rounds through within 30 minutes, the faux suppressor was hot but not enough to scald. The rifle butt had two problems. First, assembly was difficult (I needed help), and second for my long arms and far-sight, it's too short. I would add about 3-5". I noticed a lot of powder spray on my bench when I reloaded. Still, it could have been cheap rounds. Be sure to wear eye protection. The rear sight was odd: I've never seen anything like it. It's a knob which has four slots with varying widths. Also, I didn't know where to line up the front sight; in the end I stuck with the narrowest because of my far-sight. Out of the box, the paper pattern was consistently to the left 3" at 25 yards. There's a notched screw on the right of the rear sight for precision adjustment.

The overall finish is good and the fit is fine, it does however have a sort of "toy gun" feel to it. Having said that it shoots fantastic and groups well. Trigger is not fantastic but not bad. For the price you can't beat it!!

Really fun gun, but don't try using a claw mount with with poly upper. The claw mount will squeeze the upper and now allow the rifle to cycle properly.

Received the gun in a timely manner. Buds was great as always. Gun looked clean out of the cardboard box. Nothing about it was felt cheap and flimsy especially for how inexpensive the gun was. The rail on top is a bit wobbly but I honestly have nothing bad to say about the gun besides that. Ran 200 rounds through it and it performed well. Go ahead and buy it don't let the cheap price scare you away.

bought the gsg 522 carbine looks great but that was about it factory magazine had feeder lips space to far apart molding error i guess would double feed every time called ati only to be told i would have to pay shipping to them and return shipping and a gunsmith fee if they find nothing wrong was cheaper to buy new mag out of my pocket now with my magazine i head to the shooting range for a short trip gun would not fire off more than one round without a fail to fire pull charging handle first round chamber fires fine second round cycles in to chamber then get a light strike hard enough to dent case but not set it off call ati back and was told again i have to pay shipping to and from them for repairs this is a gun with about ten rounds of different brands of ammo through it and only a few days old after weeks of going back and forth they final cover shipping cost for me to send it back to ati buds gun shop was great on there end not buds fault but ati builds garbage that dont work and is unrelaible lack of quality control would not buy from ati again the whole process with ati has been terrible dont want to stand behind there product and want you to pay for repairs and shipping on a brand new gun
