I was looking for a rifle for a long time, being a quadriplegic I needed something with a manageable kick. So I went with the .270, and I'm glad I did this gun is a tack driver. I bought this gun when it was on its release sale, paid $300 total. I figured I'd pay the extra $25 for the scoped version, even if the scoped sucked I could still find a use for it somewhere. But to my surprise the (Bushnell I think) scope was actually very nice. The only thing I don't like about this gun, is that there's not a lot customizing options. But it's only because of how new it is, so it's not the guns fault. So all in all if you're looking for a quality gun for a great price, this is it.

This was my first purchase from Buds and it definatley will not be my last. The service at Buds was very good, but the rifle was better. For the money the rifle and scope are top notch. At 100 yards I have three rounds touching one another. Took a 200lb hog at 200 yards with a 150 gr Core Lokt shot hit where I aimed. No complaints with the rifle, scope or caliber.

After a ton of research, every guy friend that I knew and a lucky coin toss, I ended up buying this gun. I was caught up between the .308, 30-06 and this beast. Everyone seemed to have their preference but hands down I am glad that I got the 270. I wanted to get one that not every one had and something that would get the job done. Gun came fast and was delivered within 3 days. That would probably be my only down fall I guess, because I couldn't come up with a good enough reason within a short amount of time to my wife why I purchased another gun. I took it to my brother's house cross country and shot 14 rounds through it. I had the scope zeroed within shot 6 and confirmed with 7. She kicks now, but I would rather be on this end at least..........poor deer. I am very, very satisfied and would highly recommend this gun to anyone. I am proud to say that I will be buying again from Bud's in the future, thanks guys! - Jeff

Gun came in less than a week. Got to the range to sight in the scope, took 6 shots to do this at 100 yards and we were set. Fired another 15 rounds thru it and hit black every time. Not too bad of a kick and it is very lightweight. Just get used to trigger and I will be dead on. Great gun package for the price-you really canno beat the performance out of the box for the price! It's impressive for the price.

RESPONSE FROM BUDS: RESPONSE FROM BUDS: Gun was ordered on Friday the 13th. We shipped the gun via UPS three business days later (closed weekends) on the 18th. Rifle's are shipped via UPS ground which also takes several business days (no UPS ground on weekends). We advertise shipping out all orders within 3-7 business days...so we did our part. Scope and mounts are Savage factory installed options which we have nothing to do with. I ordered this gun on the 13 th of Aug. and I could not belive I did not get it until the 24th of the month after being told it was in stock.?????? They sure took money out of bank fast enough though???? I found the same gun at wal mart tonite for 379.00.Not only did it take to long to get here,with the scope mounts they have on it I cant get the eye relief moved back to make it work for me unless I streach my neck like an Ostricth.Now have to go out and find mounts and spend more money and meanwhile the gun is unusable until I get that straightened out,if I ever can.NO MORE FROM BUDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
