I think this six gun is as good as it gets. It is accurate, well finished and fun to shoot. The folks at Taylor's sell quality firearms so I am not in the least surprised at how much I like this one.

This gun is beautiful and great fun to shoot! I bought this for my grandfather who was carrying an old worn out .22 revolver for woods protection. I thought he needed an upgrade to .45 Colt! One note that I was disappointed in was that this gun has 3 clicks instead of 4 when cocking the hammer. I called the company to inquire about this and they told me all the new guns are being made with the new floating firing pin safety. For some reason, this requires 3 clicks of the hammer. Oh well. The gun shoots very well.

This Taylor's smoke wagon deluxe is a pure joy to shoot. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and fit and finish of the grips and metal finish are great I am very proud to have such a quality gun. Buds gunshop customer service was simply the best I have experienced so I am going to be making more purchases from them in the near future thank you for the quality of the customer sevice and product you provided to me

Bud's shipping was ultra fast and receipt was very efficient using one of their preferred FFLs. This Smoke Wagon Deluxe (.45 Colt 4.75") is flawless in overall fitment and finish. Shoots 250gr LRN (with Unique) dead center at 21' right out of the box. The trigger very light and the action is this smoothest I have ever seen. A beautiful six shooter. No complaints but only praise for Bud's and the way this order was handled.

Transaction with Bud's was super smooth with no problems. Gun arrived in excellent shape. Very nice SAA clone with nice tune job by factory gun smith. Trigger pull very light and crisp. Compared it to a friend's Italian clone without a tune job side by side and the differences were noticeable. The action of the hammer was much smoother and the action of the trigger was much lighter and without any staging or creeping. I love this revolver and the transaction with Bud's was smooth and easy.

The gun is absolutley gorgeous. Hammer action is smooth as silk. Just as fun pulling hammer back and hearing the clicks, as it is shooting it. Quality seems to be first rate. Being a VIP member, ordered it Tuesday morning and picked it up at my FFL Thursday. It was listed then as a Fast Track gun. This was nice since the three previous guns from Buds took 4,5 and 9 days just to ship. This gun is just a pleasure to hold and admire.

I have tried many of the "out of the box" tuned SAA;s and i like the Smokewagon the best! It is well balanced, quality made and tuned by a Cowboy gunsmith who I trust. The grips are a must for me because they keep your hand stuck tight to the gun which is great for all of the follow up shots after the first round goes down range. The customer service from Taylor is also excellent It is a beautiful SAA revolver to boot. . In my book, For the price, nothing beats a Smokewagon !!!! Dale Allen - AKA- Monterey Kid
